Fall Wedding Featured in Confetti Magazine

We are so thrilled to have this wedding shoot featured in Confetti Magazine! It takes a team to pull all this together and we are so grateful that so many talented vendors agreed to collaborate with us on this beautiful day. The Vision & Design by Seamless Event Management

My inspiration for this shoot was to bring together a design that featured terracotta and rust tones both in nature and in the styling. I wanted this shoot to be at an outdoor location where the beautiful colors of fall would fit perfectly into the color scheme. River’s Edge located in Devon, AB was the perfect location for achieving the vision. This shoot is the perfect inspiration for Edmonton couples planning a romantic, fall wedding with a bohemian theme. The Details by Seamless Event Management

The tablescape, ceremony setting and décor was provided by Seamless Event Management. We shopped our inventory for the perfect rust cloth napkins, table runners, rose gold cutlery and fringed bohemian placemats to tie this tablescape together. The golden candle sticks were purchased from Anthropologie and are now available as part of our rental inventory. River’s Edge supplied the beautiful double mountain arch which was the perfect piece to feature for the ceremony setting! The white resin folding chairs and large harvest table were also supplied by The River’s Edge and are available for their clients.

Photography

It was a wonderful experience to collaborate with Sarah Stalzer Photography on this shoot. Her authentic style perfectly captured every element and detail of the day. Sarah’s talent for shooting, editing and enhancing the vivid colors in the images are what make these photos pop!

Venue

We chose River’s Edge Devon as our location because of its natural riverside landscape with earthy vibes. This location was the perfect setting to capture all the gorgeous changing colors of autumn. The River’s Edge is a beautiful and unique venue with an on-site bridal suite, grain bin bar, heated dome tent, twinkle light barn for stunning nighttime photos, and even transportation between the ceremony space and the reception tent.

Florals

From the pops of reds and oranges and the varying textures, Funky Petals Sherwood Park’s talented artistry brought magic to our vision with beautiful florals. From the centerpiece arrangement to the bridal bouquet, arch piece and the groom’s boutonniere, every floral detail contributed to bringing the entire vision to life.

Couple

We were looking for a real couple to work with on this shoot and once we found Vanessa and Nathan, we knew it was a perfect fit. They are a completely sweet and in-love married couple who have so much chemistry on and off camera.

Stationery

Wedding Design by Anika is an absolute pro to work with and as soon as I mentioned the vision, she took it from there. We were absolutely thrilled to be able to highlight her beautiful designs in this shoot. We loved the creativity with the individual menus and save the dates with the stunning tassels to fit with our bohemian theme.

Cake

Maykala at Cakes By Mayk took our inspiration and created the perfect design to complement our theme and accent colors. We love the trend of smaller cakes since they are so popular with many of our couples. This was a delicious red velvet cake with buttercream frosting, decorated with dried florals along the side.

Dress

Finding the perfect gown is not always easy but Cavell’s Designs was fantastic and brought us a beautiful off the shoulder white boho gown. The beautiful lace overlay and the slit down the front added so much stunning elegance to our bride.

Bride’s Look

Veil Beauty Co. did a fantastic job at creating a classic elegant makeup look that highlighted our bride’s stunning natural features. We loved having Taylor on-site with us to help keep the look together throughout the day with touch ups. The bride’s hair was done by Simmi Kaur who created a half up, half down style with a beautiful fishtail braid and a gorgeous pearl hairpiece.
